SEMICON University is designed to engage young people considering careers in high-tech and is a great introduction to career possibilities in the industry.

Young Talent Outreach Program
SEMI and SSIA are co-organizing a YouTube Video Competition, supported by the Singapore Economic Development Board, to seek students' insights pertaining to the importance electronics and semiconductors in creating the future. This learning journey will also increase student awareness about the electronics and semiconductor industry in Singapore, and inspire students towards careers in Engineering.

- Theme: The Impact of Electronics Innovations on Future Lifestyle, Quality of Life and Development.
- Target students: Junior college students, Polytechnics and University undergrads
- Prizes: Cash prizes, ranging from S$2,000 to S$8,000 per team
- Launch Date: February 2012.

Congratulations!! Young Talent Outreach Program Winner SEMI and SSIA jointly announced the winners of the “Future of Electronics Innovations” Video Competition yesterday. The first prize winner, consisting of 2 students from National University Singapore, received S$ 8,000 in cash. Check out the award-winning creative videos here and have fun!
